However the most important ‘awards’ we receive are the accolades and the countless letters of thanks and appreciation from customers, past and present, these are more satisfying than any plaque on the wall although we have plenty of these too.

Latest HRS Review: The infectious, addictive charm, personality and character of our unmistakeably romantic country house hotel transcend most awards in the thoughts and minds of our guests.

Some recent independent reviews:

I stayed at this hotel just last week and i was blown away. the room was stunning and the hotel in general was top notch. they had a set dinner menu that was excellent value and tasty too. the only negative i would have is that the hotel website gives it no justice at all. the hotel is far far better than the website shows. glad i went with my gut and booked it anyway 10 out of 10. will be back next year for sure.

One of our best hotel experiences ever! The friendly and attentive staff, beautifully maintained rooms and lounges, and homely atmosphere have me counting the days till I can return! Superb food is served in the gorgeous Oak Room restaurant, or the less formal conservatory. The hotel went out of their way to prepare specially marked menus identifying dishes suitable for my dairy intolerance, illustrating the exceptional personal service that seems to be their hallmark. The conservatory is great for watching the resident family of ducks gambolling about in the beautifully maintained gardens that surround the hotel.

Beautiful country house hotel, this hotel is set in stunning grounds with a stream running through with ducks added in just to set the scene. We stayed for a weekend and were sad to be leaving. The bedroom had wonderful views and the cleanliness was of the highest standard that I have seen for many years throughout my travels.
The staff were lovely and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and all our expectations were more than met. The food is to die for and was by far the best experience of all and that top's excellence.  I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be returning very soon.

Our day was beyond perfect and we cannot stop talking about it. The Huntingtower Hotel really did us proud and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone; we fully appreciate the amount of work that you will have all put in to ensure everything went smoothly.  The service and the food were superb, our guests commented on how impressed they were with the whole hotel. Obviously this day meant so much to us, and you will all be remembered for the part you have played.
